The CP520 provides a fast and simple solution for checking that 13A sockets are wired correctly. Wiring faults are indicated by one or more of the LEDs failing to illuminate, with the pattern of lit LEDs indicating the type of fault detected. The unit has the added benefit of a 4mm earth connection for a banana plug to guarantee good earth.
The product has been developed in conjunction with the telecoms and broadband industries, where testing of the fibre-optic network, using a fibre-optic tester, is required and where accuracy depends on good earth.
