Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply add any items you wish to buy into the shopping cart, after you have finished your selection, click on “Checkout”. You will then be asked for payment and delivery details to complete the order. Any corrections can be made before you click on ‘submit’.

We reserve the right to cancel any order if there are any stock or price discrepancies before dispatch, a full refund will be given.

£9.50 carriage will be added to any order placed below £150 net.

All Martindale products with the exception of labels and some accessories are supported by a 2 year warranty. For further details see individual product terms and conditions.

Any order placed before 2 pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched that day assuming the item is in stock. Any orders outside of these times will be dispatched the following working day. Deliveries are next working day with the exception of outlying and offshore post codes.

If the item you have ordered is not in stock we will reserve the next available production item for you. We will notify you as soon as possible. You will always be contacted via phone or email with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We will only charge you when the item is available for dispatch.

We accept Maestro, Visa, Switch, Amex and Mastercard. All orders are processed through an independent credit card processor to safeguard from any online fraud.

For orders delivered into the UK 20% VAT is added. For all other orders VAT is not added.

We offer a 14 day no quibble money back guarantee on all products bought on the site. All we ask, is all items you wish to return are unopened, unused and as we sent them to you. Once we have received and inspected the returned products we will refund your payment within 7 days.

We take credit card payment through Secure Hosting and accept Maestro, Visa, Switch and Mastercard. Secure Hosting is an independent credit card processor, which means we never see your credit card details, nor are they stored by Martindale Electric anywhere online or offline. We reserve the right to use an independent credit checking agency, (currently Dun & Bradstreet), to verify credit card details and the registered address, in order to protect our customers from credit card fraud.

You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on “submit” on the final page of our ordering process. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may also place orders and send your credit card information via phone or fax.

When you receive confirmation of your order, this indicates that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the revised price is acceptable to you.

We do have a small order surcharge of £7.50 for our distributors, where the order value is
below £100 nett and a £7.50 delivery charge for any orders taken online that are below £100 nett.

Delivery service is next day with the exception of some outlying and offshore postcode areas, which incur a higher delivery charge and increased transit times. UK Next Day Pre-10:30 and Saturday AM deliveries are available to most mainland areas at extra cost. For further details see the Delivery page.

Drawing on our large stocks, we can usually get orders confirmed before 2.00pm to you for the next working day (orders with calibration may be delayed for an extra day).

Martindale products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. The warranty period is 2 years and begins on the date of receipt by the end user. This warranty extends only to the original buyer or end-user customer, and does not apply to fuses, disposable batteries, test leads or to any product which, in Martindale’s opinion, has been misused, altered, neglected, contaminated, or damaged by accident or abnormal conditions of operation, handling or storage.

Martindale authorised resellers shall extend this warranty on new and unused products to end-user customers only but have no authority to extend a greater or different warranty on behalf of Martindale.

Martindale’s warranty obligation is limited, at Martindale’s option, to refund of the purchase price, free of charge repair, or replacement of a defective product which is returned to Martindale within the warranty period.

This warranty is the buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Martindale shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or losses, including loss of data, arising from any cause or theory.

Since some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of the term of an implied warranty, or exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, the limitations and exclusions of this warranty may not apply to every buyer. If any part of any provision of this warranty is held invalid or unenforceable by a court or other decision-maker of competent jurisdiction, such holding will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision or other part of that provision.
