Description
The ET5 is a very compact electrical tester that measures AC/DC voltage, resistance, AC/DC current and also Temperature. Continuity with a buzzer is also included.
The DC current measurement capability typically increases the cost of many testers, making the ET5 great value.
It can also measure frequency, continuity and will take simultaneous measurement of current/voltage and frequency/voltage by employing the open jaw clamp and test probes simultaneously.
Temperature is measured using the K-type thermocouple (included).
This electrical tester can be used as a non-contact voltage indicator using the inbuilt sensor in the left tip of the open jaw clamp and has auto-ranging, display hold and auto power-off functions. The ET5 also measures capacitance and duty cycle.
The right tip of the jaw has a forward-facing LED light to illuminate the local working area.
The ET4 is supplied with TL17 test leads, a soft carry case with belt loop, 9V battery and manual.
