Description
The CM82 is a high specification 1000A clamp meter, packed full of functions for the installation, testing and maintenance of domestic and industrial installations. It is light enough for easy one-handed operation but still robust enough for use in harsh environments.
Users can be forgiven for not realising that many clamp meters are very competent multimeters too. It is the jaws of the clamp that measure current in the safest way possible, and functions such as voltage and resistance measurements are accessed using the TL16 test leads supplied.
This compact meter provides accurate measurement of AC voltage to 750V, DC voltage to 1000V and AC current up to 1000A, through the jaws that can take a maximum conductor size of 50mm or a 70 x 18mm bus bar.
Frequency and Capacitance measurement capabilities are also included.
Sharing the same test functions that are found on high specification multimeters, the CM82 clamp meter offers a comprehensive testing solution for electricians, maintenance and service engineers.
