- How often should I get my MFT calibrated?
-
As a manufacturer, we recommend a yearly calibration on the ET6000 Series from a traceable calibration lab. Interim resistance calibration checks can be made with a standard checkbox or the Martindale PD440SRDX proving unit with CALCHECK.
- My ET6000 MFT is not rechargeable, can I upgrade this easily?
-
Martindale offer the ETBATKIT accessory consisting of a set of rechargeable batteries and a charger for the ET6000.
- What do I need to test EV charge points with the ET6000 series?
-
The ET6500 MFT is supplied with the TL326EV type 2 connector as standard which connects into the standard 4mm jack on the tester. The TL326EV is available as an accessory for the ET6300. The ET6000 does not have the capability to test EV chargers due to RCD test capability.
- The ET6000 series is supplied with a “test and go” carry case, what does that mean?
-
The case supplied with the ET6000 series has a flap to allow access to the 4mm jacks on top of the tester. This allows the tester to be used comfortably in the carry case for extra protection in harsh environments.
