The MTL20B has the same specification as the MTL20 with super bright LED voltage level indicators showing 50,100, and 200 voltage presence in red LEDs whilst on the B model, the 400-volt indication is a bright blue lamp.
A two–layer double–insulated cable with white inner insulation gives a clear warning of abrasion that might compromise the user’s safety, and is resistant against heat and oil.
The robust design meets the recommendations of the Health and Safety Executive in their guidance notes on the electrician’s test lamp (GS38) as well as complying with BS EN 61243-3 and BS EN 61010 CAT IV 600V.
