From the entry level HPAT425 through to the top of the range HPAT650, all our handheld PAT testers are designed to carry out safety checks in accordance with the IET Code of Practice. One-button automatic testing streamlines the testing process, while its compact, portable design makes it easy to use wherever inspections are required.

HPAT425 handheld entry-level PAT tester
The HPAT425 is Martindale’s entry-level handheld PAT tester, is designed for clear, simple and automatic pass/fail testing of Class 1 & Class II appliances and IEC power leads. The unit is compact and lightweight for maximum portability and features a USB-C charging port for fast on-the-go charging.
Replacing the popular Martindale HPAT400 model, the improved HPAT425 offers everything needed to begin testing straight out of the box.
HPAT550 rechargeable PAT tester
The HPAT550 entry model is an affordable, battery-powered PAT tester. Suitable for Class I and Class II appliances, the tester incorporates large PASS/FAIL indicators and simple connection instructions on the tester. The HPAT550 combines simple PASS/FAIL display with actual test values, it also features a low insulation test voltage, making it suitable for testing surge protected devices. For added convenience, the unit is rechargeable via the integral USB-C port for reduced running costs.
In addition, the HPAT550 includes earth bond probe nulling, and a full colour display.
HPAT650 Advanced PAT Tester
Also available in the range is the HPAT650 which includes both automatic one button testing like the HPAT425 and HPAT550, plus single test selection for diagnostics. The HPAT650 adjustable pass levels for testing appliances with long power cords or long extension leads. In addition, it has memory for storing test results of up to 100 appliances for on-screen recall at a later time.
All HPAT PAT testers from Martindale Electric feature a user friendly interface with clear connection instructions on the screen, making operation simple, every time.
All models come supplied in a practical ‘Test & Go’ carry case, with space for accessories, meaning valuable time is saved as there is no need to unpack and repack the testers when taking measurements.
