Martindale’s MTL20BPD-S contains the Drummond MTL20B test lamp and PD440S proving device supplied with a tailor-made hard carry case. It has a clear window for access to test points on the proving unit without the need to remove it from the case.
The MTL20B test lamp has a safe-voltage indication from 50–500V AC/DC. Simultaneous depression of two buttons on the probe and instrument enables the unit to draw a high current to help identify phantom voltages. The MTL20B has the same specification as the MTL20 but has a blue LED for 400V indication.
The PD440S AC proving device proves the operation of voltage indicators, multimeters and test lamps at 440V.
The kit fully meets the requirements of GS38 and proving dead procedures.
