Martindale Electric supply safety critical products to electrical and transport utilities, food and other manufacturers and institutions including hospitals to ensure electrical systems and equipment can be safely installed and maintained.  We intend to continue to do so to ensure that critical infrastructure can be kept up and running.

We have implemented plans to ensure our business continues to operate as normally as possible at this difficult time and are closely monitoring the latest medical and government advice to ensure that our team are protected and supported.

We’d like to inform you of the actions we’ve taken to minimise risk and disruption. Where possible we have moved to working from home and replaced all meetings with video and telephone conferencing. Essential services are being maintained from our offices in Watford to facilitate deliveries from our warehouse and service and repair capabilities. Measures have been put in place to protect our staff and we thank them for their dedication and professionalism at this difficult time, their wellbeing is our priority.

To our customers:  We will do our best to help you keep essential services working while ensuring your staff and ours are kept safe.  There will be delays in calibration and repair turnarounds due to quarantine measures and staff availability, but our workshops remain open.

Our trade counter is also open for collections and deliveries only, but please keep a safe distance from our staff and other customers and respect the safety notices at the entrances to the building.

Our warehouse remains open for collections and we will continue to ship products.

Although there has been some impact on our supply chains, we have good stock levels in most categories with the exception of non-contact temperature measuring equipment.

To our suppliers: Thank you for your support and we know that we can rely upon you to do everything possible to maintain continuity of essential supplies.  Routine month end payments have already been scheduled for March and we will pay our bills on time as normal.

These are unique times for us all and we will continue to monitor the situation over the coming days and weeks and will send out any updates as the changing situation demands.  We will keep our website updated with our latest news – please keep in touch and stay safe.

We wish you and your colleagues good health during these unprecedented circumstances.

Kind regards,

Steve Dunning
