Now available from Martindale Electric is a new range of certification pads, designed to meet the requirements contained within the latest Amendment 3 changes to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, which were effective from January 2015 and will become compulsory in June.
The new range of eight certification pads from Martindale Electric offers a comprehensive and simple approach to understanding which certificates need to be used together. Featuring one set for ‘New Installations’ and one set for ‘Existing Installations’, each set contains an option for up to 100 A supplies and one for greater than 100 A supplies.
Containing approximately 80 pages of carbonless copy forms and a card divider, each set of certificates feature clear and concise guidance on what forms are to be used together.
In line with the recent changes to the model forms for electrical installation verification and certification, the number of tick boxes for the schedule of items inspected will go up from 44 to 120.
Other changes to the minor electrical installation works certificate and electric installation condition report, include a requirement to now carry out an inspection within an accessible roof space, where electrical equipment is present.
