The new E-Ze Test range from Martindale Electric includes the EZ2500 non-trip earth loop impedance tester with Prospective Fault Current (PFC) and Prospective Short Circuit Current (PSC) functionality. This new tester features T-SafeTM non-trip P-E and P-N loop impedance tests, as well as PFC and PSC checks. It will also carry out socket tests and voltage tests.
The tester is supplied with an IEC socket with an interchangeable 3-pin adapter and a 3-way flying lead with crocodile clips, allowing testing at light fittings, distribution boards and terminals.
Utilising an extremely simple to use design the unit only needs to be plugged in to give a result without the need to select a range or even to switch it on.
The EZ2500 carries out mains wiring tests and also automatically displays phase neutral impedance. It calculates prospective short circuit current and prospective fault current in addition to the earth loop impedance and offers full compliance with BS EN 61010, BS EN 61557 and BS 7671.
