The Martindale MicroPAT plus is a dual voltage PAT tester with memory storage and download capability. It features a one-button, one test operation and can be connected to a barcode scanner for easy entering of appliance numbers.

This portable appliance tester carries out both the legal minimum tests, as well as earth leakage, run current and flash tests. Suitable for testing of both standard appliances and IT equipment, the MicroPAT plus is an excellent value-for-money tester. For downloading the test results we would recommend using the Martindale MPATSUITE software, however you can also download results to Shire Safety First Express & Simply PATs.

The Martindale MicroPAT Plus is supplied with earth bond lead, 240V socket to 110V plug, flash gun, instruction manual and accessory carry case.

Note: A separate breakout box (MARLTDV) is required for testing of IEC & Extension Leads.

How do I test 3 Phase appliances?
You need to use our 3-Phase adaptor leads that allow a single phase PAT tester to carry out safety tests on 3-Phase appliances. Only the basic tests can be performed, i.e. earth bond and insulation tests. Obviously it is not possible to carry out the RUN tests with a single phase PAT tester.

The adaptors you require are as follows:

Part number MARTL154: 32A, 5 Pin adaptor

It is also advisable to purchase a copy of the IEE Code of Practice, if you haven't already done so.

Why won't my barcode scanner work with my MicroPAT?
The most common cause for barcode scanners not working with the MicroPAT are either the scanner has not been configured correctly, or the the MicroPAT baud rate has been set differently to the scanner.

Early models of the MicroPAT only had a 1200 baud rate, whereas with the later model MicroPATs you can cycle from 1200 to 9600 by pressing first the PRINT button then the RATE button.

NOTE: If the MicroPAT is the type badged up for Metrotest then it will need to be returned to us for a firmware change before it will work.
