The Drummond MTL9C test lamp improves on the design of the MTL7, with the addition of a built-in continuity tester. This allows for quick checking of the test lamp circuit to show that neither the fuse or lamp has blown. In addition the continuity tester includes an LED to show voltage presence even if the bulb filament has blown.
Fully compliant with GS38, the MTL9C gives a clear, positive indication of the presence of voltage and is not sensitive to the presence of phantom voltages.
