The classic John Drummond test lamp is fuse protected and complies with GS38. This makes it ideal for low cost voltage testing.

The lamp gives clear positive indication of the presence of voltage and is not sensitive to the presence of phantom voltages.

Test lamps should always be proved safe, both before and after use. This can be done by testing on a known live circuit, using the continuity tester, or through the recommended proving unit PD690.
